Building Communities That Thrive.
Student Materials:
Families are required to have an internet enabled computer and internet connection to participate in the tutoring program.
If a student is borrowing a device from the school, the family is responsible for ensuring the device is brought home on tutoring days.
If a student is unable to borrow a device from the school, tutoring will be put on hold until a device can be obtained.
Connecting to the Tutor:
Families will receive a link from Canopy Ed and/or from the tutor to log into a video call.
Families are responsible for communicating with the tutor if they are unable to connect to the call or need additional support with the link.
Cancellation:
Families must cancel a tutoring session 24 hours in advance. Otherwise it will be considered a “no show.” No shows will be charged toward the grant at the per session rate and cannot be rescheduled.
Missed Sessions:
If a student misses 2 scheduled sessions in a row, or 3 scheduled sessions total, the tutoring spot will be forfeited and made available to other students.
